This is a map of Colorado's Aquifers, oil tanks, and animal habitat (which are bear and mt Lion) the areas that are highlighted are the areas where the objects were found clustered.  The information that was used was from//ndis.nrel.colostate.edu and shape files that were given to me.  The river systems and counties were from ESRI 32 data. 

alaskan Volcanoes

The idea of this map was to show the relation between Volcanoes and Earthquakes within the ring of fire.  The topology was taken off of Google images and then Geo-referenced to fit ESRI 32 data set of Alaska.  The Volcanoes data set was taken from the Smithsonian and placed into and excel file where it was then given and xy data which was then placed on the map.  the earthquake history is from the ESRI 32 data.
